Are naturopathic doctors licensed in Oklahoma?

No. Oklahoma does not currently license naturopathic doctors. The Oklahoma Association of Naturopathic Doctors states that Oklahoma is not a licensed state for naturopathic medicine and that its members typically hold an ND license in another licensing state while practicing with restrictions in Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision licenses medical doctors and listed allied professions; naturopathic doctors are not among those license types. That means there is no Oklahoma ND license lookup comparable to what exists for MDs or DOs.

If you are evaluating an ND in Oklahoma, ask which out-of-state license they hold, what they can and cannot do under Oklahoma law, and how they work with an Oklahoma-licensed physician when medical diagnosis or treatment is needed. This page is general information, not legal advice — confirm current rules with state boards and the clinician’s own disclosures.
